Handmade solid sterling silver ear cuff by MaterialMaya from "Bones of Earth" collection
This cuff is shaped after the hidden “finger” inside a blue whale’s flipper, a tiny homage to the skeleton that once mesmerized me as a taiga child in an Arctic museum. Its form follows the idea of the whale’s five phalanx fingers, a rare echo of our own hand structure and the reason for its name, Pentadactyl.
The smooth, bone-like curve wraps the ear like a small marine relic, bridging deep sea and frozen forest. It fits naturally into the Bones of Earth world, where anatomy, memory, and geology quietly meet in wearable form.
